Are many of the trails here wide like in your photos? I'm just looking for some easy trails for a stock 2011 Grand Cherokee with all terrains.

Go to Home - Welcome to Wheelin' World Off Road and Camping and ask them about the trails and your stock 2011 Grand Cherokee with all terrains. I do not know how your stock Jeep is set up. There are some trails at the park that you can go on but you will have to climb some steep hills to get to them. All of the trails should be wide enough for your Jeep.

They is not much rock to climb but there are some trails that have not been climbed that I know off. The campground has everything from full hook-ups to tent camping. There is plenty of room for groups to set up and there is one room with power that will sleep 10 or more. There is also a nice restroom/ shower area. Go to their web site to see more pictures.

Hey Larry what about showing us around this park ? maybe sometime after the first of the year . Also saw you were looking for a set of springs i have a set of 4 inch lift springs for the rear i would give you if you want them . I just had them rearched in July but since my stretch they are no use to me .

After the first of the year just let me know when you want to go. The owner if there every weekend. The trails have really changed since the has been some rain on them. It washed away the loose dirt and there are more rock showing now. They have cut some new trails that I have not seen yet.

I do not know about any national forest trails west of me but there are some good trails in the Mark Twain National forest just north of me in Missouri. I only live a few miles from the state line.

i live fairly close to mark twain but how does one find where these trails begin? also, i sold my TJ that I used to have and now have the new 2011 Grand Cherokee so I kind of am a wimp and want to stay on wide trails so i don't get the tree limb scrapes. are there any wide trails at the mark twain?

The size of the trails depends on how rough you want them. There are some in both Wheelin' World and Mark Twain that you can go on with no problems.

There are 3 different areas in the Mark Twain National Forest. The one that I have been on is around Roaring River State park.

There is a real fun trail just south of Roaring River that I run. Very wide trail and a good picture trail. There is a small a water crossing, ankle deep but looks awsome. You can go all the way back to the river but the trail gets tight and harry, guaranteed to leave scratches. I live right on the Ar. / Mo. border and would be glad to go any time.
