I've been here since Dec. and haven't found anything yet. If there is anything I would like to know myself. Originally from Houston and we had a grat place about 2 miles from my house so I'm really getting ready to find some good trails. There is Gilmer which is less than 2 hours away but that is a good little drive.

I live over in Nash and usually just go up to superlift in hot springs. There's a few places around here that you can go. It all depends on what you're in to. There used to be a club around here but I think it fizzled out. I need to get out and ride. We all should get together and make a trip.

The only place on 82 that I know about is Cave hill offroad but it is for atvs and motorcycles only. I have heard that you can go to red river off hwy 8 north of New Boston. I went there and did see a trail going down to the river but didn't want to try it out by myself. Maybe we could check it out sometime and see what it's like.

ya let's set up a drive out to the river by new boston. We can just go see if there is anything worth a crap. I know some places north of the interstate off jefferson road. My brother in law flipped his jeep there. I don't know if it is locked up or not. I'll try to look and see this weekend.

Rode out to Jefferson today. There are trails on both sides of the road. One side had some decent hills and some mud. There was one trail that I turned around on cause it looked like it went to a house. On the other side I couldnt see how far the trails went. I had to turn around on both for the mud that was there. It didnt look bad, but you never know. My cv was poppin pretty good so I booked it back to the house. This may be a pretty good spot with another driver to give you a hand if needed. I didnt see any posted signs.

My brother in law totaled his rubicon that had only 10k miles on one of those hills off jefferson. It rolled end over end. After that they had some cables up across it not letting people in, but I guess they already took them down. Next time u go let me know and I'll meet you over there. I'll just throw some straps in the back just in case.
