Moved out here in Sept. and been waiting on the snow to melt. I wanna get started with some decent trails (nothing too crazy). How are Barbour's Fork, Cascade Creek, and Devil's Canyon. What are the trails like, are they close enough together to run all of them in the same day? Any pics?

The only one I have run of those is cascade creek and from what I have been told is the hardest of those you mentioned. With that it is not a difficult trail. There is only one section that I think could qualify as a easy-moderate obstacle. Cascade creek is open year round though so you can try some snow bashing if you want. Also it is a very short trail, if I remember correctly it only took me about 45 minutes to 1 hour to run. Not sure about the other two. Check out traildamage.com they probably have some pics and more info.

Thanks for the info, you know anything about Slaughterhouse Gulch or when it opens?

Slaughter house is open year round and makes a good snow bashing trip from what I hear. I have never ran it though, I guess it got graded two years ago and is pretty much just dirt now with whoopdedos and mud holes which isn't really my style.
