Stereo install in a CJ7 in HOUSTON area???

I've got an '81 CJ7 that I need someone to replace the stereo in.....but I don't trust the average "Tweeter" or "Car Toys" to start disassembling the dash to my 25yr old Jeep. Is there anyone around the Houston area that can be recommended to do such work?? I was hoping that someone here had one installed and could recommend a place- or knew someone who was familiar with a CJ7 that could install one. I'm desperate to get this done, and any help would be appreciated

Check out www.TX4wd.org/forum and register there. There's alot of members on the north side of Houston and I'm sure someone could point you in the right direction or at least help do it. It's actually not too hard to do on the older jeeps if I remember right. I'd offer to do it exect I'm down south of Houston almost on the gulf.

Appreciate the reply Slinky- I'll do as you suggested. If it doesn't work out, where are you located? I grew up in Clear Lake and still spend a lot of time there- friends and family are still there.

No prob man. I'm actually down in Lake Jackson, so I'm still further than Clear Lake. You could post in the Houston thread on here, and someone in there might know a good place for you to go as well.
