Red River NM First trip there!!

I'm going to Red River NM for the first time, has any of you guys been there? and if you have what trails did you take and how hard are they?? Newbie here...

I have been there alot,Have even towed my jeep through there on the way to colorado but I have never wheeled there.A friend of mine always take the trail up to goose lake-says its got alot of huge rocks on it.He usually rents a jeep when there,I know they have a couple different jeep rental places there I bet they could hook you up with some info on trails.

check out the chamber of commerce website, I believe they have a link to a rental place that has a map on it you can download...there are a lot of trails that start up behind the tennis courts in the back of town, but I can't remember any of their names...

There is also 4th of July Canyon, which can be kind of muddy during monsoon season, there is also Pioneer Canyon, which runs up by the ski area and goes up to an old favorite ones are Goose Lake trail, Pioneer Creek, and the ones that start behind the tennis courts...
