If you guys want mud the road between dyer landing and vine prarie in the mulberry bottoms can be a real blast if you catch it right after a hard rain. Plus the sloppy stuff is quite close to my house.

Oh and I'm also a fellow OFGC member, for about 8 years now.

BTW ETA how did the 4 runner do?

Is that the "road" (I use the term loosely) right off River Road and run along the river? I've been on that before when the ruts were at least a couple of feet deep. Did you go to Alma? I grad in 1994. Do we know each other?

Typically it doesn't get as bad as it used to since the county started "maintaining" it. I've not been stuck on it yet but it gets plenty sloppy at times. There's Frog Baoyu WMA down there now. But yeah that's it, runs parallel and south of blackland rd.

I went to Alma and would have been class of 96 (GED)

Hey is there any wheelin places in those bottoms, I have never been down in there? I wasn't sure about if people get up tight about wheelin in there or not.

I am a member of the Old Fort Gun Club, do you get over there much shooting? I just became a member this last year and haven't been over but a couple of times.
Most of the Roads around Gun Club can get kinda bad with alot of rain, but not worth driving from Greenwood. They are just sloppy, muddy bottom roads.

I suspect I would have been on this trip if the 4 runner owner had called me

Didn't you come with Jimmy when we took that trail down the mulberry river? You had the camo jeep.

Yep!

You had to borrow my hi lift and jimmy's socket when that slice in your tire decided to give up.

The only bad thing about the liner is it is harder to get the mud out than before. You actually have to scrub it.

I appreciate that. I finally figured out how to mount a jack to my tire carrier.

Sweet! I'll have to check that out as mine will need to be relocated once I buy a winch.

BTW since we went out last I dropped my 9" project and swapped in a locked 8.8.

Next time it's raining like crazy we need to go out again. I had too much fun on that last trip we went on out by shores lake.

Sounds like you got it ready to go. I like wheeling in the rain also, but i'll go any time. Get a hold of Jimmy and we'll plan a trip and make a day of it. Ever been up Herrods creek?

My wife and I are going to take our Concealed Carry class tomorrow. We have both been wanting to do this for several years just never found the convenient opportunity. We found a guy within a few miles of our house that does it for 50 bucks a person. Should be fun!!
