And Here is A Few More

Enjoyed the trip guys, look forward to doing again soon!! This was my maiden voyage as for a group of people going on a long trail ride and I am officially hooked. No one broke anything significant and I think fun was had by all.

Not a prob, I will plan a time out and let you know. It will probably not take but a few hours to see all of it. The bad thing is that a lot of people treat it as a public dumping grounds and there are some piles of junk here and there, nothing in the way of the trails or in dangering the jeeps, it just looks bad. I think I am hooked up the next couple of weekends but soon after that should work.

I had a blast too. It was extremely fun. Im glad we didn't have any break downs also. It made for an enjoyable time. It was nice actually putting faces with names too! Ill get the pics my buddy took on monday and post them up.

You guys get all the mud off them rigs, How bout you Sloppy, did you get it out of that thing?? I had more on the inside of mine then I though, I didn't get to start cleaning it up until today and it took a little while.

Ok while cleaning this thing up today I had this pop into my head. We spend X amount of dollars and time buying, building, fixing, worrying about these things and then take them out on trails like Saturday to get them muddy, broke, scratched etc.. just so we can spend more money, time repairing, cleaning and making them stronger for the next go around... Are we all insane????

When I bought mine a buddy at work who has had a jeep for years told me the Just Empty Every Pocket line and I said that is not me, I am going to just do this and that to it and stop. I am not going to go crazy and spend all that money on one of these things then go run them through the mountains like a fool. Well I have certainly went past where my original stopping point was and have tons of ideas for more. And the wheeling through the woods was a blast so I guess I am going to go to work tomorrow and tell him all the stories and get my "I told you so's"

I haven't cleaning started yet. I had to go to the bottoms today past Old Fort Gun Club and rescue Derrick (My Nephew that went with us) and hit a few more mud holes on the way. He has called twice this week from the bottoms needing help. I remember High School days.. Just take off by your-self no worries, Now i'm afraid I will have to walk-out. LOL

Yes I remember those days but I never had a 4X4 so I was always stuck for sure or out of gas because my gauge never worked.

Hey is there any wheelin places in those bottoms, I have never been down in there? I wasn't sure about if people get up tight about wheelin in there or not.

I am a member of the Old Fort Gun Club, do you get over there much shooting? I just became a member this last year and haven't been over but a couple of times.

Dang I missed out big time.

I think I've been wheelin with the owner of the red TJ (if its the jeep I think it is)

I suspect I would have been on this trip if the 4 runner owner had called me

Think Green recycle your YJ's sway and trac bars today!

Got the pics from my buddy at work this morning. Some of them almost look exactly the same. Guys it took me 1.5 hours just to get it looking acceptable to drive down the road. Simple green and a brush were needed on every INCH of my rig. The interrior still needs to be wiped down but that's okay. My neighbors looked at me like I was crazy sittin there in my yard. I pulled the radio out and just sprayed everything down.

Hank, I told you if you came back from this trip and didn't have a few ideas of what you wanted to spend money on then there was something wrong. Also can you send me the link for the weatherstriping for the hardtop. I'd appreciate the heck out of that.

Without further ado...
