Needing advice on trails and camping in southern Missouri

There's a few of us wanting to take a couple of rigs somewhere in southern Missouri and not finding what we are looking for.

Everyone wants primitive camping... no facilities past a fire ring, and forestry roads to run not far from the camp site. We've been searching the internet and getting somewhat results but nothing exciting so far

Any thought? Thanks in advance.

ah yeah there wasnt much in MO when i was living there, mostly pavements. try south MO, theres alot of woodlands there, probably trails as well.

if that doesnt work out you can try the Rest Area and go redneck

If you are coming to south Missouri come on down a few miles further south and check out Wheelin' World. It is 3 1/2 miles south of Eureka Springs, AR.

Southern Missouri

Google SMORR. Stands for southern missouri off road ranch. Great trails rated 1 thru 5, all well marked. It's a pay per day operation. Some of us from ''Mid West Jeep Thing'' are going to their SMORR Froze Over February 18,19, 20. 2011.

I waited until I was old enough to afford a Jeep only to find out I still can't afford one.

Now I own two of them.
