Mid-MO Trails - What would you want?

Anyone who lives in the Mid-MO/KC area knows that there is not much as far as 4x4 parks go. If there were to be one, what would you want?

How long of trails? What kind if terrain? Would you want a free park, or a small fee to help maintain it?

Give me some input on what you would like to see.

I wouldnt mind a small fee to maintain the park. I personally like rocks. Good camp grounds are important to us as well.

Something for all level of drivers, novice to expert and a good mix of rocks and mud. Campground as well, I wouldn't mind a small fee to maintain the park either.

Fees are fine and camping would be great.
All levels of trails and well marked. That way when I bring a newbie I know I wont be destroying his jeep and making him hate off roading.
Like Trail F, Lockers Suggested and 33s.
Nothing worse than getting on a trail better than your jeep and trying to get through it or backing out of it.
Not just one of the trail maps that you totally cant read.

fees are fine, esp. if camping is available.

Hills, water crossings, lil mud, rocks. Long trails from stock to highly modified. Campgrounds, charge a fee to help with up-keep of the park. On-site food and drink would be good also.

It would be interesting to see something close into the KC Metro develop into a OVP. It would probably be small acreage due to the expense of land close in. However if something did happen I would support it financially. Nothing worth having is ever free.

SMORR - Ava, Missouri east of Springfield, MO
Flat Nasty - Fulton, Missouri east of Columbia, Missouri
Kansas Rocks - just north of Ft. Scott, Kansas
Tuttle Creek - just north of Manhattan, Kansas

There are several private old rock quarries to wheel around St. Joseph, Missouri if you know the right people.
