looking for some trails and good people Hou,TX

Im new to the jeep world. owned my jeep for 3 weeks now. I have spent 2600 bucks on it in that time. Im ready to get on a trail or in a little mud. Im wondering if anyone in the houston vicinity knows good trails around and if there is a jeep club that goes out in groups to have some fun.

Welcome! I'm relatively new as well only having my TJ for 2 or 3 months now.

Ive gone to Spring (in spring) Creek off road park with some buds twice so far and we are talking about maybe going to uncle sams some time (Huntsville)

there is a pretty big jeep community in Houston it seems like you just have to look.

To Veterans past and present, thank you for your service!

Welcome guys... I've had my Jeep for a few years now, and there really aren't many places around Houston to go, with the exception of Spring Creek. I haven't been there in awhile though, got kind of burned out on it. There is a huge Jeep run coming up at the end of Feb. The Dallas Chapter of TX4WD is putting on it's annual "Mega Run." I'll be going to that event this year as I did last. It is one hell of a good time! It's in Gilmer, TX. It's a bit of a trip, but well worth it. I'd check out the website for more info if your interested. It is www.tx4wd.org, then you go to the Dallas chapter's link.

Hope you guys make it out! The more the better!

Next thing on my list.... Spare Axle Shafts!

Welcome, I'm a little new too, with a 08 Wrangler 5 in lift, 33 mud kings, black wheels, tube bumper with 12000lb winch. I go to www.springcreekoffroad.com almost every Saturday. It has a small assortment of things to do, a fun close inexpensive place to go. Look me up if you come out. Paul
