Local NW Arkansas Trails?

I am a new Jeeper and am looking for some beginner trails in the NW Arkansas area. I am from Fayettevile. My jeep is still stock. Only mods are Home Depot Discos, waiting on my 31x10.5 MTR's form Sams club, and will be getting a 2" RE spacer lift hopefully in a month. I really want to meet some cool people that can teach me some tricks and show me a fun time.

Mark, I am also from Fayetteville and have been wondering if there are any trails or even just local events where jeep owners get together. I enjoy the off-roading when I can afford it, but I am like you I don't really know where any tarils are in this area. If you hear anything would you please keep me posted?
Thanks, DIXIE

I have sent a few emails to some people in the area that are supposed to be involved with some local jeep clubs. Still haven't heard anything back, but I will let you know as soon as I do.

I don't know where you town is but there a few really good places/runs in eastern Oklahoma. Grand Lake in the upper east corner of OK has some great wheeling. There is an event in Clayton OK on the 28th and 29th of Sept also. Sorry guys but this is all I have right now.

Thanks Chip. If I get the chance I will get down there.

I noticed that you are from Enid. I spent the first 14 years of my life there. Great Place and GREAT baseball.

Thanks again

Clayton does look like a lot of fun, but I was recently informed that I have company coming into town that weekend for the Alabama vs. HOGS game. Looks like I will be staying here in Fayetteville.

Dixie

Glad I could be of help. I fell in love with Enid when I moved here back in 1997. I met my wife at the United Grocery Store on Willow and from then on never wanted to leave. Have you seen the new baseball field that built for the high school and legion teams? Quite possibly the nicest legion park I have ever seen and I played some ball when I was a little younger. If you ever get over this way please let me know I would love to meet you and the family and have you over for some backyard bbq. Well it is dang near, shot it is past, my bedtime. Take care and have a good weekend.

Chip
