I know that 10 or so years ago there was a Jeep Club in Austin that had a garage. Members would help other members with their build and everyone ended up with better Jeeps for less $$

Is there anything like that in Dallas?

the only club in that area that I can think fo is FWD-FWD (Fort Worth Dallas - Four WHeel Drive). I know that there has to be more, but that is the only one that I can think of.

x2 on Lonestar...we don't have an official garage, but we often do wrenching parties where lots of people get together to work on their junk. check it out...lots of very helpful people there.
