Creede, Colorado to Silverton, Colorado

Surely there is a way to get to Silverton from the Creede/South Fork area without having to go all of the way around. Anyone know a way?

Thanks,

Cody

not sure as far as time,I have done it several times but always stop to take pictures, eat etc. Really pretty pass,It will take you to Animas forks ghost town and then in to silverton OR you could take a right at Animas forks and over corkscrew gulch over hurricane pass and come out south of ouray and miss silverton all together.Or you could take mineral creek and come out south of ouray as well. Any way you decide its beautiful!
