Colorado springs area

I'm in the middle of planning a vacation out there in the CO springs area and came accross the need for a rental car...where in this area can you rent a wrangler? I may or may not take it wheeling, somthing about it being stock :P anyhow, is there anywhere to rent one that can or cant be wheeled and where is a popular area to wheel if I so do choose.

Just weighing the options, and trying to set it all up thanks!

Here ia a Jeep rental business in Buena Vista CO. that has Jeep Wranglers and Cherokees.

Yes you can take them off road and there are plenty of places to go wheeling here too. Buena Vista is about 100 miles west of Colorado Springs. There are some beautifull areas to go here too. And NO i am not the owner either but it is funny they have the same name as my user name.

Hope this helps

Well its what Im looking for buy way out of the price range, not to mention the 100 miles may be rough making with no transportation. I may look into this if I rent a cheapo vehicle, but theres got to be something a bit closer.

I live in the Springs and I have never even seen a Wrangler for rent anywhere. There are more wrangler here than anywhere I have ever seen. I know that there are about 25 within a couple of miles of my house at dealerships. take one for a test drive to the mountains?!

A taxi from the Springs to BV will cost you a lot. It's about 100 miles.
