Why don't you call them and tell them what you think instead of *****ing about it on here. And I still say that there is no way that you could have gone on all the trails in 1 hour. They had someone else say that they could do all the trails in 45 minutes. They told them to come back and if they could do all the trails in 45 minutes they would give them their money back. How do you except them to build up the park with no money coming in?

It will be okay man. Im just letting everyone else know my experience. Take it for what it is, MY experience. Im not trying to get into a pissing match over something irrelevant. I understand you love the place, you probably helped build it. It just wasnt what I was expecting.

I talked to one of the co-owners of the park today and gave them a copy of your posts. I have a few questions for you. How many vehicles did you have with you at the park and how much did it cost for each? Are you related to the owner of the off road park in Cass, AR?

Well, the Princess (wife) wants to go camping. We used to camp quite a bit in college, but now we have kids. 3 and 8 are the ages. i have decided that we can go to ORV in Hot Springs and make a day of it. I have not taken a Jeep off road since the early 90's, but i go 4 wheeler riding quite a bit so i understand drive lines and what not.
My Jeep is a auto, unlimited, 2" BB, on 33's. no lockers (does have LSD), no winch. i have recovery points on front and rear with 30 tow strap. First Aid kit, CB radio, and Fire ext.

What else should i bring? Not counting camping equipment unless there is something weird for the area, like bear urine to keep the unicorns away.

I won't have a buddy, are people pretty friendly and allow you to team up?

I will have the princess and kids, are the trails relatively safe for the kids?

Greetings Rugbybob, I suggest this: I'm sending you a pm as well, but I suggest you go check out the Arkansas Crawlers 4 X 4 Club and see their website and forum. They are the club around that works very closely with the offroad park. And YES everyone there is usually very friendly and it is family oriented. If you were going to camp in a tent I suggest you do it soon cause AR summers are quite humid. For example, today is going to be in the upper 90's with a heat index of 102 and you'll sweat like a stuck pig! There is camping at the park and there are also several lakes and parks nearby you can camp out as well. Like Lake Ouachita, Lake Hamilton, and a few others. I want to say some of the lakes even offer stuff like campers already set up and you rent them and even TeePee's (those are cool).

Also, as you come off the main road to the park you will pass by Magic Springs amusement park, so your kids may start bugging you to go to that. As for the trails, they are pretty safe 1's and 2's are a safe bet and 3's are generally okay, but have the opportunity for bad things to happen if you miss a line or mess up. I think your Jeep will do fine I took mine and was able to do up to 3 (and even one 5 on down hill!) with 29" tires and no lockers. Most of the hard obstacles that have potential for damage like on rocker panels will have a bypass.

Are you running a d35 on the 33"s and do you have a spare? Will this be your main driver to and from the park are is Jeep trailer-ed to trail?

Fellas I have an iphone charger that I believe doubles as an Ipod charger as well.
It's the one that came with the Iphone 3Gs phone. It's still in package wrapper and never used.
It is the usb cable & the wall charger. The wall charger plugs into the usb end of the cable and the other end of the cable plugs into the phone.
I've never used it. Trying to get $10 and I will ship it for $2.
Maybe you want one for the house and the office. Or if you lost yours don't be $20+ from best buy when you can have this one for the cheap. I can take pictures if you'd like w/ my screen name next to it.
Call me as I don't get on JF much anymore. Also check my itrader as I've sold on this site before.
