General Sam's in Huntsville, just up the road from you.

http://www.generalsams.com/

I've never been there, so I can't tell you what it's like.

How about along the beach in Port Aransas?
Just across Aransas pass (by ferry) from the east end of Galveston Island.

Brazos Valley Off Road Ranch (BVORR) in College Station. http://www.brazosvalleyoffroadranch.com/

Just got done night wheelin out there, plan on going back tomorrow all day.

Hunter, you should go out there if you can tomorrow. Theres supposed to be quite a few clubs out there with plenty of rigs. And it would be nice to see another Grand out there

And about General Sams, its alright. Broke my front drive shaft there (CV type 3 crap). The trails actually arnt that bad, I just need a little more ground clearance where I was... its all just washouts and mild rocks trails. Cost really isnt worth it though IMO, maybe just once.

Wow,

I can get in there for free. Maybe I'll ask LeeX if he's willing to head out there.

There's Spring Creek just south of Conroe. Try www.springcreekoffroad.com for details. Post in the houston thread in the wheelin' neighborhood whenever you want to go and people will join you. You can also go to www.tx4wd.org and check out the forum there.

I'd show ya a few spots if ya wanna get your Jeep dirty LOL, just be sure to give it a good washin' cause this Saltwater is a metal eatin parasite LOL...... If you consider wheelin' to go muddin, or a few mounts' to climb.... this may be good..
