the best way to do it, is loosen all the bolts first, don't take them all out. then let it drain most of the fluid out into a pan, before dropping the pan down. then remove all the bolts, except for one side, and tip the pad down to remove most of the fluid. that way, when you finally drop the pan, you end up dealing w/ a LOT less fluid.
replacing the pan is deff not hard, and while your in their, might as well change the filter too. if you do it in your driveway, it'll prolly take you about an hour MAX!!
don't take something like that to the dealer unless you REALLY fell like it's something you can't handle.
