On another note check out MarylandJeepClub.org if you're not already a member there. There are a lot of forum members there that live in Frederick and somebody there might be able to recommend a place that is Jeep friendly. At the very least someone there might have a set of stock tires they could let you borrow in order to pass inspection.

If it were me though I'd get it inspected as it is now and see what they fail you for, I do believe they will reinspect it one time for free in order for you to correct any issues. You might just end up passing without having to do anything to the Jeep as it stands now.
Thanks! I think thats what I plan on doing. I will definitely join maryland jeep club. I am not a member yet but im about to sing up now. I have been to Crazy Rays before. That is a good idea.

Yeup, only problem you may have is the tires sticking out. If you have a buddy with a stock jeep, borrow his wheels /tires for a day ahha

Yea. I totally forgot one of my friend has a jeep and bought new wheels. The owner got back to me and said he does have flares though, so I should be in the clear.

Here's the COMAR reg's:

http://www.dsd.state.md.us/comar/get...1.14.02.01.htm

In the 'file' code, change the fourth series of numbers ".01" in increasing amounts to see each section specifically, i.e. 11.14.02.01 to 11.14.02.03 to see the reg's on 'brakes' for inspection . . .

If I was you I would go and get it inspected to see what they say. I went thought I would need a lot and only needed a few small things, I actually passed inspections and got pulled over later on and had stuff I never touched be "illegal." So you never really know.

Well I don't live in MD anymore but I would start with the junk yard. Who cares if they look good, they just need to pass inspection.
