Reminds me of highschool though, a buddy of mine put small *** wheels and low profile tires on a Suzuki Samuri, we had some fun with articulation and the dang thing would do some cool stuff.
back in '92, the dealer tried to sell me a Renegade (I think that's the package name). Said it was his Darth Vader Jeep. I declined and went with a more tradtional base model.
I don't know the guy but when I saw it running it sounded stock to me. Personally, I don't care if it runs tens, if it can't get through the mud, it ain't a Jeep!
You know...I like lowered vehicles and hot rods. If you wanted a cool cruiser for a beach town, that would be pretty cool with a small block chevy in it. It kinda defeats the purpose of having a Jeep, but it could be cool in it's own way. What else are you gonna do with a Renegade with those fiberglass fenders?

They actually look pretty good with custom bumpers, winch, a little trimming, and some 33s. For the tight pines, NO, but a nice Jeep to cruise to the beach and around in Hell yeah.
