Where are you in NJ? Your best bet is to find a group of people going on a ride and join them. Not a place you want to be out there by yourself.

Im in middletown... 114 on the parkway.. but my parents live down in little egg harbor.. i love wheeling but dont know ANYONE into it at all..

for the recored i have a 98 ZJ with a 2"bb on 30" BFG A/T's right now.... still handles itself pretty good in the pits though..

and within the next month im going to pull the trigger on either the iro 3.5 F<R or the RC 4"

i also have no idea who im going to have install the kit.. i checked the only shop in the area and they wanted $1000 to install it..
