Any fishing holes at the cabin area that they can let us fish at without a permit? Also, Iain got a nice little compound bow for his birthday that I'm sure he would love to bring.

The campground says there's hiking, trout fishing, whitewater rafting, canoeing, kayaking, bicycling, horseback riding and more near by. I believe the campground is near a national forest too so there should be stuff to do there. Here's the link to the campground.

I talked to the guy at the campground today and the cabin we want is available that week and to let them know if we want so he can reserve it for us. Is it safe to reserve the site?

I have wheeled every trail at tellico and every black/red trail at the PA parks and the higher level trails at tellico are much more difficult than the ones in PA. The whole place is a lot more spread out than the PA parks. Trails like Upper & lower 2, Slickrock, Gaurdrail and Helicopter pad (trail 12? those obstacles are very close), Peckerwood and Schoolbus should not be attempted with blue-level vehicles. The lower level trails (4, 5, 6, ect) would be fine for those vehicles. There is enough to keep you busy for 4 or 5 days

Gaurdrail and Helicopter Pad are the only obstacles I know with permited bypasses. Otherwise stay OFF the bypasses! SFWDA works hard to keep those trails open and blazing bypasses is not helping. Pull the cable or stay off the trail!

Call the park office, they can help you.

Tellico is an awesome place, I can't wait to go back

Would anyone have extra room on their trailer to pull my rig? Getting down there is less of a concern compared to getting back. I would be more than willing to split the gas and buy some beers.
