Starter Rebuild in Bergen County NJ

Anybody know any good places to get my starter rebuilt in bergen county?

I think it's on it's way out.

Your starter? Just get a new one from autozone and put it in. Very easy and comes with a lifetime warranty. Not expensive either.

Well from reading other posts on starters the ones they sell in the auto centers are mostly chinese and not dependable. I don't want to be stuck somewhere with a faulty unit even though there's a warranty you know.

From what I've read having it rebuilt is often much cheaper and if it's a reputable shop it's often better than new since they use better parts.

Again I could be totally wrong but I read through a ton of posts yesterday and that was the general solution.

That's the problem with the internet.....too much info! lol


Do you have any experience with autozone starters?

Union County, but they'll do it if you dont want to buy a refurb.

Pearl river auto electric. not sure of the name of the road think it is Main street. It is on the road that runs parallel to 304 kinda behind the KFC. Good guy, have had alternators and winch motors re-built by him.
