I'm not a snob I ride with a lot of people but for this one event It's got to be Rubicons only. Like I said before I've given Hummers out and my Scout buddys out of our Jeep club.My CJ7 is in piece's at the monent When I get it back maybe I'll do a CJ only run. But I won't do
a Renagade only run that's a trim package. LOL
A: rubicons have stickers that say RUBICON, no other trim package does
B: rubicons have other stuff that the other trim packages don't
so what you are saying is Jeep has a trim package called a rubicon

Rich,

In 97 - 2006, the SE comes with a 4 Cyl motor. The X, the Sahara and the Sport and the mighty Rubicon come with a 6 cyl... Trims can equal a different motor... that said... I am sure they can come with other axles and random bolt on parts.

That said, I really don't care what you do with your run, however I would prefer you acted like an educated adult, not a 4 year old with a hard on for the trim model... it makes us all look retarded.

** I have never personally met you Rich, but I think you are ignorant. You do not care what anyone says, no mater what... I am not going to take this any further. Good bye

I am doing a BFG MT run.

Dude, seriously?

I guess if you're that in love with the Rubicon then that's great for you but I know several non-Rubicons that I'd take over a Rubicon any day.

I saw a group of ALL TJs at Ma Bell the other weekend and the first thing that came to my mind was "How lame. Couldn't they at least throw a YJ or something in there for variety. Christ that's boring."

We had 2 XJ's, a Samurai and a Range Rover that day. I like to see different vehicles take runs.

People I'm a Jeep guy 20+ years (CJ's YJ's TJ's) I have the right to see things as I see them. And you can see them as you see them. Or as Jeep see's them.
If they call it a trim package well good for them But I don't call it that.

This run was all about having fun it was not meant to exclude anyone. The North East ='s Rust . Rust eats our Jeeps You don't see to many Willys and CJ5's anymore. In the next 10 years you will see more JK's on the trail less CJ's
and YJ's. I worked my way up to a Rubicon after many years of driving a CJ7. I'm not the NEW guy here who picked up a Jeep and now He's a Jeep guy. I've only owned 2 cars in my life time the rest have been Jeeps. This tread could go on and on sometimes that's the fun of it.

The CJ's were king but Rust took a lot of them.

When the YJ came out it was not that good (there I said it.) It got better in the 90's.Till the TJ came out then when the Rubicon came out it blow the doors off the Jeeps that had come before. No Dana 35 rear end.
It was ready to go from the factory on this run and that's why I wanted to do this run. Yes you can beef up any Jeep. But to buy the Rubicon and turn the key well that's it for me.

Found this on a forum asking about XJ's.

Nothing but trim packages. And they varied year to year. None are mechanical/performance packages like the Rubicon, however they all generally had the six cylinder engine of the

It was just easy for Jeep to call it a trim package But I like what this guy said and I argee with him.

Did you organize CJ's of one trim level runs back then?

You're in denial on this, like the guy that swears only ET aliens live in AZ.

Of course you did, you exactly meant to exclude anyone without your Jeeps trim level. By the way, are JK Rubicons welcome?
