Finally, someone willing to take on the challenge of organizing in Rhode Island and not making us drive out of state - well at least for meet and greets and the like. Still not much legal opportunity in our little square footage, but organization is the first step to gaining local access.
If you're in RI (or close to it) and aren't part of a club yet, here's your chance. They only organized in July so there are only a handful of members, but there's growing interest.

I just wanted to bring this back to the top again. Ocean State Jeepsters is having our first "official" meet and greet BBQ next week. There is still time to join, meet some local wheelers, and help us organize in the Ocean State.

theres also Rhode Island Off Highway Vehicle Association ( www.riohva.org )
which has annual trail run near the CT/RI/mass border, i seen a few ocean state jeepsters there at 07 run. over 200 people showed up
