Rausch Creek ----> 05/17/09

So, it's that time of year once again. OK4WD in Stewartsville, NJ is holding their open house on Saturday May, 16th and offering up free passes to Rausch Creek good for Sunday May, 17th. To get the free pass you either need to show a $50 receipt from OK4WD from the last year, or spend $50 at the open house.

I'll be there with my usual group of local wheelers and JF members (probably 4 or 5 of us). Anyone else planning on attending?

My pics from last year's event can be found Here.

Nice! We'll be camping close to the park on saturday night. OK4WD's open house is always fun too. Lots of vendors on hand. We'll spend the day there, maybe run their obstacle course then head out to RC to setup camp in the early evening.

Yeah man, I don't think you'll want to leave . We wont even be able to run half the trails in one day, but it all depends on how many rigs we've got in our group. I like to limit the groups to 5. Makes covering ground a whole lot easier. I've been there many, many times.... so I know my way around pretty well.

You'll have to sign up for a "membership" at the office in the morning before we hit the trails. I think it's like $15 for the year. You sign the waiver, slap the sticker on your windshield and you're good to go.

Cool stuff sounds easy enough, I'd like to get a CB before this summer too, do you have any links to where you got your setup?

If you are seriously starved for places to wheel then yes, I'd say it would be worth it if you make a weekend out of it.

Click on the link to my homepage and you'll see many albums worth of pics from the park.

Will you be towing out? Or driving your trail rig there?

I have a list of part #'s I used for my CB setup that many JF members have requested and used to put together their own systems. I'll find it and send it your way.

If you want, I'll help you put it all together. Just let me know when you're around .

Yea, i really have no where to go and cant find anything closer than here that seems worth any kind of drive. yes, i will be driving it there, my jeep is 100% stock which is the other problem. a 2.5" lift with some 32 m/ts or a/ts are in the future, hopefully within the next three months. pics look pretty sweet man

Even with a stock rig there are plenty of trails for you to run as long as you have proper skid plates. Those should definitely be your top priority.
