October 21-22 Post Run Discussion Thread

I'm back.

Today was a relatively short day - we had some breakage in the black group and had to get back to camp early. It must be a sunday thing. Or an XJ thing.

We had a great time as usual, I'm uploading pics now and should have them online in a few hours.

Tom

No we didn't :. We were thinking that someone forgot something when we saw so many chairs left with so few people out on the trails.

Yahoo album is here:

http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/red04jeep/album?.dir=/794are2&.src=ph

I'm sorting through them now and getting a few ready for the photo thread.

Wow you got some great pics!

I posted higher res pics in the photos thread. Lemme know which full sized ones you want.

I'm pretty sure Kyles gears were good, but his spiders were toast:

My brother and I just got in (after a stop at in Scranton for an hour or so). I love the pictures already!!! Thanks, everyone, for making this another awesome weekend. Unfortunately, it's time to get back to the real world. At least the pictures are still coming in so I have something to check every 5 minutes.

Yeah I did, and already have a new set in, so I am ready to go!

Anyway - 1:45AM and I just walked in the door. What a day! THanks again all for a great weekend and all the help getting me off a black in 2wd.

I shall post pics in the morning.

Those were yours? I picked them up and brought them to Lynn in the office and she gave me a 1 day pass to wheel any time I thought they were from the people camping next to us with the trailers

JUST KIDDING.....YOU OWE ME BIG TIME!!!!! (rear seat bracket hardware might work ...seriously though...pm me on that)

I was the last person there (me, jp, chris)...I couldn't leave them there.
You have no idea how hard it was to fit all that crap in my jeep on the way home...I was literally stretching out my soft top in EVERY direction. You can come pick them up in CT or I can bring them on the next run I make...but that might not be till next year (seriously though....highly doubt I will be doing a Nov run...just to expensive and cold for me)

yeah, i don't know how a november run's gonna work for me now either.
i get to work this morning, and my manager pulls me into his office, and say's he doesn't think i'm working hard enough
so he tells me to take the day off, and go think about how much i really want to keep my job!!!!! can you beleive that!!!!
so i'm sitting home right now, wondering if i really want to go back tommorrow, or just quit, and finally start up my business i've been talking about for years now.

so yeah, money might be tight for a while now!!!

Ouch! Well for the immediate if you want show your boss that you want to work there I would go back today and begin working reguardless of the day off he's given you.

You never want to hear that from your boss though. It looks like you're deep on his radar screen. You should invite him out riggin with you, maybe he'll end up giving you a raise for showing him the light!
