North Central WV Benefit Poker Run Oct 3rd

Jeepin WV and Stagger4x4 would like to announce:

There will be an OHV Poker Run on the 3rd of October for the benefit of Jeff Sankbeil... Aka: Tireman.
Registration will be at the Grafton Walmart from 8-10am. Groups will depart at intervals beginning at 9am. The trails will take about 5 hours to complete which includes the convoy to and from trails. The day will end with a rally at the Grafton City Park which is located at the base of the tygart lake dam.
There will be two classifications of vehicles with seperate trails.
Stock/Near Stock Class: This class would consist of vehicles with little or no lift and open axles. This trail, which is approximately 8 miles long, will consist of light mud holes, slight hill climbs, some ruts and a minor rock garden. Though not extremely technical, this course will require some degree of skill. Decent tread is the only vehicle requirement. We have taken stock YJ's through this course with no carnage what so ever. Don't be ascared, we have aquired a reputation for assisting new off road enthusiast. If you are new to the whole OHV thing, this is a good place to start.
Modified Class: This class consist of everything else. These trails are not recomended for vehicles with less than 2.5" of lift and aggresive tires. You should know what to expect. Towpoints are required and may get a workout. There will be hard road involved, so only street legal vehicles may enter this event.
Players: We ask for a $20 donation to play in this event. Players will recieve a score card with their registration number on it. This scorecard must remain in the players possesion at all times. Vehicles are welcome to have more than one player. Through out the day, cards will be drawn and the results recorded on each players card. Team leaders will also keep a record. The final results will be tabulated at the end rally. If you have never attended a poker run, it's a good time so come out and play.
Payout: The payout will be based per entry. Best hand = $4 per entry. Second best = $3 per entry. Third best hand = $2 per entry and the worst hand = $1 per entry. We will also hold a 50/50 and have a cornhole tournament if enough players are interested.
Food will be provided at the end rally for a $5 donation per person, $3 for kids.
For the first time, this event is being hosted by two of North Central WV's Jeep Clubs as a combined effort tp assist a friend who has supported our members and our community. All of the proceeds from this event will go directly to Mr. Sankbeil and his family. Whether you belong to a club or not, this is an excellent opportunity to come out, meet everyone, see what it's all about, and have some fun. This is a prime opportunity to show what we can do together.
So come out and enjoy a day filled with off road fun and games while doing a good deed at the same time. Camping and lodging near by so post up for details or questions.

Let me know.... Check out the latest details on stagger4x4 in the club events topics. Stock trails are mild. Mod trails combine vehicle ability with major technical skills on a new OHV Park. Carnage is a definate possibility.
To date, without last minute confirmations and walk-ons, looks like around 18 stock and 24 mods. Gonna be a good time, anybody else is welcome.
