Local 4x4 Shop question NY/CT

Does anyone know of a good shop that does specialty work for 4x4's ?

I've been trying to find someone to weld my sliders on, but I keep getting told by my local automotive shops to go else where....

My Buddy has a shop just over the mass border which I think isn't that far from you.

Nick...I ran into one of your buddies...I forgot to catch his name but he works at a plumbing store in Danbury by the airport....I was picking up supplies for work and happened to be driving my rubi instead of my work truck...he spotted it and we started bs'ing and I told him he had to join Jeep Forum...he mentioned he had a buddy with a GC that lifted it and I asked if it was black and he was from New Fairfield and he said yes...so after putting two and two together.... I told him he should come out with us for the RC run the 21-22 of this month. He said he might be interested in coming out....get on that!

P.S There is a shop called JD's Offroad right over the danbury border in NY....literally about 2 minutes off X-1 on 84 (last exit before the NY border)....come off the ramp, bang a right then immediate left and it is 2 minutes down that road on the right. They tend to be pricey for most stuff but they are good to have around in a pinch and they do good work...give it a try.
