Green Ridge State Forest

This is not a wheelin trip for me, just a getaway from the same ole same ole **** that I deal with every week. ( WORK )

I used to go up there with my old hunting buddys every Spring around this time. I was trying to get some of my friends to take another trip up there, but nobody wants to go, or they can't get time off.

I'm planing on going before the end of this month.

Camping in tents at a camp site. $10.00 a night.

We can even hit the easy off road trail that they have there, do some trout fishing, drink some beer, if you are a beer drinker, tell lies around a campfire, and just enjoy ourselves.

I love Green Ridge State Forest. Everytime I go there, I just don't want to come home. Ya wave to someone here, and they give you the finger, up there, everyone is very friendly, treat you like they know you.

Not too sure on dates yet. Either the third week of this month, or the last week. Any takers???

Thanks for the offer, but I have other plans.

When I go up there, I like to stay there for a few days.

If ya wanna break in some new parts, go to Rausch Creek Off Road Park. You can take the ORV trail in two wheel drive.

But if you want to do some very light wheeling, Green Ridge is the place to go, and the primative camping is great.

I was supposed to go up there last month for some camping, but never went. Didn't want to take a chance with my Jeep since the axle seal still needs to be replaced.
