The Great American Jeep Rally 2006...

The weather held out for us today! Drizzled a little bit but nothing major. Lot's of great Jeeps. Over 500 showed up! Many vendors to chat with and things to see and do. Check out my pics here:

that huge orange XJ was a disgrace to all of Jeepkind.... 44'' TSLs, bricks (literally bricks!) as lift blocks in the rear, stock front driveshaft, stock hollow tierod (that snapped in half his 1st run at the rocks) and stock gearing and open/open diffs... it was disgraceful he couldnt even complete the rock garden

Matt- good eyes pickin out my YJ, i towed her up cuz i still havent fixed that brake line that stopped me from going to PAP w/ u guys, but i decided to do the rockgarden anyway, the spotter was kinda freaked when i told him i didnt have brakes, he still let me take the harder line and i made it right through

haha, you must have seen his 2nd attempt! I saw him go through the rock garden and HE TOOK THE EXACT SAME LINE AS THE COMPLETELY STOCK ZJ THAT WENT RIGHT BEFORE HIM!!!! Not kidding . All the guys around me were laughing at him .

Yep, lot's of carnage on that rock garden.... mostly because nobody was airing down .

I saw a Rubicon with a 3.5" RE SF Kit drive his rig STRAIGHT into the first rock ( ) and put a real nice bend in his stock tie rod. Talk about not knowing where your tires are . The guy just drove right into the rock! I started getting the feeling that a lot of those people had never seen a trail.

Most of them haven't seen a trail before...they just like to show off their Jeeps at the Mall and then go to truck shows and act like they have a clue
