Eastern Shore Maryland wheeling

Eastern Shore Jeep Association will be holding our monthly trail maintenance this coming sunday, Nov 16th around noon in Delmar, DE. Anyone possibly interested in becoming a new member are welcome to attend to see the land that we have and wheel on. Our trail maintenance involves removal of any downed tree's and improvments to current obsticals and trails, and of course wheeling to test the trails. Certain safety equipment is required, front and rear tow points, full size spare, fire extinguisher and strap (optional for viewing the land). Those items are for vehicles wishing to wheel while at the land, we do have a camp site area to park your vehicle if you do not have those items and you can ride with someone, should be seating for a quite a few others. This gives potential new members the chance to see what we have to offer before getting a membership, 1st time is free. All persons and passengers entering the land must sign a land waiver, which will be on hand, for insurance purposes.

Currently for 2009 the dues for Club Members only is $40.00, the dues for Land Member is $150 and includes your regular club membership. If you are in the area figure this, to go wheeling you usually have to travel to Rausch Creek, which costs you gas to get up there and back, and however many times a year you go. Our rates are the total for the year, and while Rausch Creek has more to offer, we do have great trails and are always working to improve them so come check us out. Even if you live within a hour from here, its worth it. Are trail maintenance is once a month so basically with the land dues you are going to be wheeling at least once a month for sure, more in nice weather!

We are primarilymade up of Jeeps, but anyone with 4x4 interests are urged to come check us out. For more information, contact myself at wrangler95_4life@yahoo.com my name is Mark or visit the link in my signature to get more info.

Thanks and hope to hear from some of you.

Where is this property located? Or, how far from Pasadena, MD? (if you don't want to make the address public). Looks like a great place to wheel that's not 4 hours from where I live.

From your house to the property would be about an hour and thirty minutes or so.

No worries.

I had that comp all ready to go, but no one wanted to participate. Do you guys have more interest now?

Definatly working on interest for the comp now, Toms87, load up your house to Delmar DE and thats where the land is. Mapquest puts it at around 85miles, i know it is a little bit of a drive but is worth coming to check out, thats why we like our land, we also do RC trips, but not as many since we have our own land with the way gas prices were, and even with them coming down, we are all still recoperating from the loss it put in everyone's pockets. PM me for more info if you like, this sunday we are looking at getting there around 1030-11 and someone else is coming from the bridge area around that time too, prolly be out messing around until dark.

Anyone who is interested there will be a member meeting new people at the Gander Mountain just off the Rt 13 N exit on Rt 50 around 10am. You would be looking for a Dodge Ram 2500 with a tricked out TJ on the trailer behind it. Come on, come all!

if you want to see pics, last month we ran like 3 or 4 stockie's at the land on trail maintenance day, through some decent area's to without damage, so if you have the basic safety equipment, you are good to go, for the more extream things when you meet the other guys at the club, they usually have a open seat to ride for something extream there! Its free to come check out the 1st time, so if interested, get at me, should be in 2 weekends from now on sunday!
