They going next week fox but I have off on Saturdays so we can head up then too. As far as trails are concered I really don't believe there are many out there althoght I have read differnet on the forums. I'm sure most people are making the trip just to see the abandoned-ness of the town and do some exploring.

the abandoned town is my reason for going, wheeling will just be a potential bonus if there is any.

Well it is dangerous, but when you are unstable ground,a dn if you read the link to the article on centrailia, you know why they closed the town down. Did you ever hear of the Stine's back in the late 80's who plumitted to the bottom of a 150 foot mine shaft in a fullsize Ford Bronco? If you did you know that you that you can visit them at the local cemetary in Branchdale, PA. Yeah mines are nothing to mess with. I grew up with mine susidences always occuring around the town I grew up in, they are real, and and even more likely under Centrailia!!! Dont be a fool be careful, rolling or floping is one thing, You won't come back home if you go down a mine shaft...

yea I'm sure they are prevelant around there. I plan to be extra careful and obviously stay clear of steam vents and the obvious danger zones.

Leaving here and heading down in about twenty minutes. Probably be there around 9:30 - 10:00 AM. We're going to be taking Route 11 to PA-42 (I think) down there. Damn highways. If we see any of ya, we'll honk or something. Haha.

Definitely not much left to see now. Especially given the snowfall they've had. Like someone posted earlier, so much of it is gone with exception for a couple of houses. It's just barren roads now.

Although, driving around afterwards was fun. Ended up in so many other cities. Haha.

Well I'm glad someone went, I ended up bailing myself because of weather. I will be going myself in a week or two. We can plan to get a group going again
