Campground in Albany/ close to it

Me and my girlfriend are looking for a getaway weekend to go camping...

I just picked up one of those tents that attach to a jeep ($300.00) through Just for Jeeps and ($50.00) through craigslist

all of that aside
anyone have any good spots we could go and pitch a tent and spend the night? (campgrounds)
please let me know
thanks guys for the help!!!

Thompsons Lake up in the Helderbergs is nice and there is some good exploring/wheeling to be had near there.
