Any Jeeps in the Union County, NJ Area

I'm new to the county (07016) and was wondering if there's jeepers around here that could fill me in on some trail rides, etc.

Hey, I'm in the area (07202)! No idea about trail rides since I'm still new but check out the NJ/PA thread. Lots of people there with tons of info.

Where in Cranford are you?

I just went to Wharton SP yesterday with a group of 6 people to wheel.

I'll have to keep a look-out for your Jeep around town

You are kinda close too. You are pretty much a straight shot down North/South Ave from me.

I have to fix my steering linkage (I was one of the ones who bent it on the Wharton Trip over the weekend). I will proly do it one night this week tho.

I really dont know my way around in Wharton so we'd have to find someone who does. But I'm up for another trip. PM me when you wanna go. we could start a thread like the one from this weekend to get more people too.

I'm actually in clark right off of raritan rd, but you will see my jeep coming down walnut st every morning at night going to work in cranford. I'm down for a ride... let me know the next you go, maybe this will encourage me to run my air lines for my lockers haha.

They don't even allow bikes on the trails for fear of frightening the horses from Watchung Stables....

Take a walk on some of the trails in there. You'll see its nothing more than narrow paths leading to nowhere really. Better to walk it and see that its nothing special as far as off-roading.

And you don't want to get caught in there with a vehicle-----there aren't park rangers, they are regular Union County PD that patrol the reservation. (they are in there constantly too )
