I'm from Bergen County but I'm done wheeling until next year. Building a new rig that's not a Jeep . There's nowhere good to wheel in NJ that's not illegal, so I go to PA and NY mostly. I also hit as many Big Dogs events in VA as I can (highly recommended, worth the 5 hr drive) and try to make at least one long distance trip a year.

That's why I moved to New York State! But I still belong to the club linked in my signature. Check it out AJ we might have some parts to trade with you to get your wheelin rig up and going

im located in passaic county. If any of you are familiar with Botanical gardens or Ringwood manor let me know. With a fishing permit that will cost you $20, you can get a brushwood acces permit and legally go wheeling. You can find most trails easy to come by stock, but when you can come across parts where my buddy in a 6" lifted xj even had trouble.

How do you get that permit? I used to fish up there via wheeling all the time before there were gates on every trail and would like to do it again. Actually how I got into wheeling.

Thats awesome to hear! Are you familiar with franks tackle in ringwood? I am right down the road lol Well anyway if u go to franks tackle u can get a fishing permit for $20. and then if you go to one of the building in the ringwood manor, if your ever around i can show you its a 5min ride from my house, you go there with your permit and license and registration/insurance ask for a Brushwood acess permit. The gates are only open 8am-8pm which kinda stinks cuz i like off roading at night haha but i mean hey its legal. You can follow the cable cut path forever lol
