1-16-10 Rausch Creek

Looking for a few people to go to Rausch on January 16th. Blues and a black or 2.

2005 Rubicon on 33s, I have to fix the lockers again.

Brian

How would a stock TJ with some mud terrains do? I have wheeled before but never with a group. I would need to grab a CB and some d-rings but that isn't toohard.

Sure you can come. I have d rings and you could pick up a handheld cb from bestbuy. I probably wont have mine in for this trip.

I only have 1 more inch of clearance under the diffs than you. Smithy is also close to stock. Ill bring the tools so you can disconnect your swaybar too(I dont have disconnects)

You might scrape a little, but it shouldnt hurt anything.

good stuff..i actually just realize my flight gets in too late...

I'm going to be out in steamboat, CO skiing with my sister who lives out there. So no go on this one. I'm down for another trip ASAP though. I haven't wheeled in awhile and I've had the itch badly.

Ill most likley be in, nothing too crazy since this is my first trip out with my new jeep and first time out with the new lift and such. Last one was a TJ and was used to the short length ha, and I just bought a house and dont want a break nor the other half riding shotgun to kill me

Meeting there? Time?

Looks like the group is starting to shape up. To JSBlu, Blues aren't bad at all. Not hardcore, and I believe most of the more difficult obstacles have bypasses. Its fun. As for a meeting time, I can go as early or as late as you want, as I only live about an hour away. Oh and while you're planning the trip, I really really really wanna hit yellow jacket (hint hint)

I do too, and I was looking on the RC forum and want to hit up trail "D" too. I might be taking some obstacles and have my mom spot if that is alright with you, she doesnt like the hills too much. Im considering the 5 ft pit too.

As for a meeting time, I was thinking around 8:30 and be on the trails by 9:15/9:30. That way it gives us time to air down, I dont have any discos(so it takes me like 10 mins to disconnect), let everyone get there, check in ect... All the little things we have to do before we hit the trails.

Edit: It takes JSBlu around 2 hours 15 minutes according to yahoo maps. It takes me around 3 and a half hours. Not that long of a drive though.

yep,

Just got the Jeeps checked out this morning for HORRIBE death wobble. I didnt know if it was teh ball joints, tie rod ends, tires ect. I thought tires but wanted to be positive, plus my dad said it wasnt the tires. Turns out the front end is tight. The shop rotated the tires for 20 bucks, I dont have enough jack stands. Tires rotated and its fine.

See ya there at 8:30.
