I'm on the north side of Valpo - only a few miles from the Portage highschool. Heck we have enough close by now to meet up - lol. I haven't looked them up but there is a jeep club that meets in Hobart as well at the parks building - believe its the third Tue of the month or something. You all probably won't ever see my jeep on the highway so just look for my PW, bout the only one around these parts.

Yea I'm a Member of Northwest Indiana Jeepers. Which meets in hobart on the third Friday of the month at 7pm. Our website is www.NWIJ.com. The webiste hasn't been updated for months but it has Info and some older pictures of club runs. We plan a wheeling trip once a month usually to Badlands or to Cliffs. Also once a year they plan like a four day trip this year we went to Land Between the Lakes. Last year was Flat Nasty in the ozarks.

Come to a meeting and check it out. The next one will be Nov. 21

For your meetings is it right at the park inside the large park building? I tried to find it once, but failed - lol. Would like to check out one of your meetings - have to check my work schedule to see if I am off or not.

It is near Lake George but we meet in what is the Old Parks Dept. building. It's a small building with a pole barn behind it. There's a gas station on the corner of Old Ridge Rd. and N Lake Park rd. The building is right next to the gas station (to the east). The address is 18W Old Ridge Rd. Hobart, IN 46342. If you look it up on Yahoo Maps for whatever reason it puts you on the west side of Lake Park when it's actually on the East.
