First time at Silver Lake

Hey everyone, I may be going to Silver Lake for the first time next week sometime. I've never taken my TJ in dunes before and want to make sure I've got everything I need. I looked up the stuff on the flags, stickers, and all that. I've read a variety of posts on psi and airing down. One question I still have is whether or not to unlock the front end. I've never actually done this before (never been on any extreme trails), so I'm not familiar with how it affects the drive. Should I leave it locked or unlock it for the dunes? Anything else I need to know?

When you say "Lock" and "Unlock", are you refering to a selectable front locker?

Sorry, should have made that clearer. I meant disconnecting my front sway bar.

i would leave it connected.....Your really not going to gain much at the dune. No rocks to crawl or anthing there, nothing really that makes you flex. Not worth the time to take it off...

Leave it connected. Your not going to do any crazy articulation on the sand.

I'll be up there next weekend. I have a place up there. Don't forget you need a voucher on the weekends.

Not sure which pond out there it is but one of them is 8 feet deep. Be careful if you like water. Was just there two weeks ago and had a blast.

Thanks for the advice everyone! Sounds like I'll leave it connected. I'll probably be up there Thursday or Friday evening.
