This Jeep has been my project for the last 8 years, but I want to move into a more family-friendly camping/wheeling rig. In the time that I've owned her, I have removed, cleaned, or replaced every bolt as I put it all back together. I have photographs of the entire build and receipts for pretty much everything I purchased. Here are some highlights...

General
- 1983 Jeep CJ7
- 150,xxx miles on the odometer, 20k miles since frame-off rebuild
- Originally had the 258 I-6 in it
- The only things left from the stock Jeep are transfer case, hood, dash, frame, tailgate, and fuel tank.

Engine
- AMC 360 V8 from a Grand Wagoneer cleaned & painted AMC blue (certified by Aircare Colorado, passed emissions recently)
- Engine has ~100k miles on it, but pulls strong and doesn't leak anything
- Howell TBI kit including AMC 360 mapping chip
- HEI distributor
- MSD plug wires
- Edelbrock performer intake
- Re-sealed including pan gasket, valve cover gaskets, intake manifold gasket, rear main seal
- New radiator
- New fuel lines for send and return
- New Walbro fuel pump mounted on rear crossmember
- 20 gallon fuel tank
- MORE Bombproof motor mounts
- Custom mandrel bent 3" exhaust w/high-flow cats & Flowmaster super 44

Driveline
- Ford T-18 transmission with 6.32:1 granny first gear
- Centerforce clutch & pressure plate w/15k miles
- Rebuilt Dana 300 transfer case
- Novak Adapters pilot bearing
- Novak Adapters T-18 to D300 adapter (with option to clock for belly up)
- International Scout Dana 44s front and rear (inner C's clocked to 7* castor)
- 3.54 gear ratio, open diffs
- New ball joints
- New pads, shoes, rotors, and drums/hardware
- Chevy flat top knuckles w/Poison Spyder high steer arms
- Custom DOM tubing & heim joint tie rod and drag link setup
- Drop pitman arm
- Ford F-250 hubs, brakes, spindles for 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern
- Anti-wrap bar & custom cross-member for rear axle wrap
- Custom drive shaft rear, new U-joints front

Suspension/wheels/tires
- All four corners have YJ rear springs, disassembled, painted, re-assembled
- Spring-over axle conversion
- MORE front spring outboard kit w/shackle reversal
- JKS Quick Disconnects
- Rubicon Express mono-tube shocks
- American Racing Outlaw II wheels
- 33x12.50 BFG MT with good tread left & full-sized spare

Electrical
- Optima Yellow Top battery
- Custom low-gauge starter wires
- Full rewire with painless wiring kit
- Common ground for all electrical components
- All connections crimped, soldered, and shrink-wrapped

Body/Interior
- YJ galvanized tub sandblasted, repaired, bondo'd, seam sealed, and Rust-o-leum'd for trail use
- YJ windshield modified for defroster through windshield frame
- YJ non-family roll cage
- Retro-fitted CJ7 tailgate
- New Bestop canvas seats (not pictured)
- Bestop Supertop soft top (needs minor zipper sewing)
- Rust-free paddle-style hard doors
- New heater core and Chevy Blazer heater motor

Exterior
- Frame completely wire wheeled & POR-15'd
- Rusted rear frame ends cut off and replaced with square tube
- Custom front and rear fully welded bumpers with swing-away tire carrier
- Warn XD9000i winch

Stuff I haven't gotten around to finishing...

- Turn signal wiring needs attention. I replaced the switch, and there's still some funkiness in there.
- Horn isn't wired up correctly. Didn't bother me too much.
- A few small (stock) holes in the firewall still need patching
- Haven't gotten to the gauges/dash yet. The speedo works, fuel works, volt works. Oil pressure & coolant temp gauges need diagnosing.
- I made the mistake of putting inexpensive brake pads in, they squeak sometimes.
- I planned to paint it all one color, but didn't want to get attached to a nice paint job so I left it in Rust-o-leum brown primer.
- Front windshield is cracked. Was going to wait until after paint to replace it.

This is really a great truck - imagine a CJ7 that will drive straight on the highway with no hands, but is prepped for pretty much anything off-road. I had planned to throw some ARBs and 4.56 gears in the axles and wheel it, but I need to focus on the kiddo and let someone else enjoy it so it doesn't just sit and collect dust. I have over $25k invested in it and, if you are an enthusiast, you know that this is a great platform to finish either a dedicated trail truck or a clean street/camping vehicle. Doesn't need anything to be driven today, and doesn't need much to be "finished".

I'm open to offers, but please be realistic.
