Winter tires for 2011 Jeep Liberty Sport 4x4, I am confused!

Hi Guys,

I am confused as to what tires I can put on my 2011 Jeep Libery Sport 4x4. I have a chance to get a deal on a new set of winter tires on rims but the size is P225/70/16, are these compatible with my Jeep? When viewing tires online and such I notice the only 2 that come up are:

P225 75 R16
P235 70 R16

According to what I am hearing from others is that as long as they're 16 inches and are either 75 or 70 then they'll fit my jeep. Is this true?

The factory 16" tire size is 225/75R16. A 225/70R16 would be almost 1" shorter than the factory tire.

While its possible to run a 225/70R16 on your Liberty a 225/75R16 would be idea. Tires with taller sidewalls perform better in winter conditions and by selecting a tire with the same diameter as your factory tire, you're speedometer, ABS and traction control (if equipped) will also function as expected.

Here's a link to some winter tire options in this size. (Black Friday is next week!) We guarantee the lowest delivered price on everything we sell and we'd love to earn your business.
