why is rubicon lift 4.5 bigger than 6'' other brand

just wondering.. after seeing pics of people installing the rubicon 4.5 lift -- if looks way bigger than a skyjacker 6''

part of it is quality...part of it is the way companies measure lifts...

in general, companies measure the lift height of a brand new install...

RE's advertised height is generally the height after everything has settled down...

I run 4" lift springs from teracrap on my Jeep... Fresh install was over 5" of lift. Now after a few months it is about 4.5"

Teracrap? I take it you don't like teraflex. I was thinking about getting a 4 inch long arm kit from them. Any reasons?...
