Wheel spacers / Back spacing help

Two things,
First, can anyone recomend the minimum backspacing needed to run 31"X10.50 on a stock 2001 Sahara?
Second, I've seen some pretty stout looking wheel spacers on the market, can anyone provivide feed back on what they use, Pro's con's.
Reason I ask is me Wrangler came w/ 16x7 aluminum wheels that I happen to like. So if I could save a few bucks, and keep the wheels, that would not hurt my feelings any. Thanks for any help.

hey everyone, im KINDA new to jeeps, meaning that ive had my XJ for a while, but i havent "fu**ked with it" (mods)

most of my work on it has been repairing that wallet-draining whore! (the jeep )

anyway, i was wondering what the wheel spacers are supposed to do. never looked into them.

thanx
Dan
