Round ones?
That's a very subjective question and ultimately will be your own tastes. Personally I like black steel but that isn't everyones bag.

Have you ever seen the Black Rock 909 type D wheels. They look a lot like a steel d window but are aluminum. They will be my next set for certain. http://www.quadratec.com/products/92613_14XX_B_PG.htm

The fake beadlock wheels like the Mickey Thompsons have a removable ring and are available in many colors.

Also you said 3.5" of lift. It's a curious number because Rubicon Express comes to mind. As someone who has owned a 3.5" re lift I would suggest going another way if that was the lift you were looking at.

These are the wheels I have on my yellow TJ. I think they look great on any color because they are black polished. But ultimately it will be up to your own taste.

Fuel has some really nice wheels out for the TJ. They have everything from a more traditional soft 8 design to more modern styles.

Let me know if you have any questions about them or anything else!

I am watching craigs list for a nice set of stock Moab take-offs. I see a lot of JK owners take off stock wheels, to buy something fancy. However, JK wheels dont fit a TJ unless I bought a new set of wheel spacers/adapters. I would then powdercoat the wheels either black or gunmetal.

Beware the jk wheels have a very deep back spacing.

If you go to tirerack.com and lookup the wheels for your Jeep they have an app for showing what they will look like on your jeep(they also show the weight of the wheels, you would be surprised 15 inch aluminum can be from 17lbs well into the mid 40lb range).
