Wheel adapters

I have a chance to buy 4 wheel adapters 5x4.5 to 5x5 for $100 used. I don't know what brand they are but i know they r black. Should I chance it because they were used so they should be good or go but new ones?

Personally I don't like them. Its one more part to fail. Why adapters? What's the need?

I want the adapters so I could run the 17's off of a jk. I like the style of them and also I got a set of tires cheap.

They may be fine but is a wheel flying off worth $100? I just bought 4 new spidertrax adapters for $200 shipped from quadratec. I plan on doing the same to my 93 ZJ.

How is being used going to have hurt the spacers? Are there any obviously problems with lugs?

They don't have a brand so I'm afraid incase something happens. There aluminum but there r diff types of alluminum and spider trax uses a diff type than rugged ridge and so forth

Do the spacers change anything towards the feel of the jeep? Do they make it vibrate at all?

Make sure everything torqued and there should be no vibrations. If there are something is wrong.
