Just for reference, I've stuck with the Michelins, and I haven't been disappointed. They really are great tires. So far I've been through 3 or 4 of them over the last couple of years. Luckily the guys at Discount Tire sold me certificates on them because they were new from the factory, and I have ended up making good use of those certificates. All failures have been due to hidden sharp objects on the ranch cutting the sidewall, from what I can tell. TPMS kicked in every time to warn me before things got bad (one time it didn't have to--could hear the hissing when walking around the truck).
