How about getting narrower wheels? 8" wide wheels are fine for 12.5" wide tires.

11" Rims

I have 33 x 14s mounted on 11 inch rims and they work well together. If you put 12.5s on the 11" rims your rims will always be banging on any rock or curb you go by. Especially if you air your tires down you will have problems with that combination. It depends on where you plan to drive. 14 or 15 inch wide tires suck up a lot of gas on the road, and they are no good in the snow--more like toboggans! Good luck.

You say ABOUT 11" wide --- how did you measure the width?

If the wheels are 11" from outside edge to outside edge, then you have 10" wide rims. Rim width is measured from the tire mounting bead to the other tire mounting bead. 15x10s are 11" wide outside to outside.

If they are 15x10s, get some 12.5 wide tires.

If the wheels are truly 15x11s, (12" outside to outside), I suggest getting narrower wheels.
