it all really depends on the width. About right would be a 10.50 width. 11.50(like on most 32s) is pushing it to the max. I would not run a typical 33 (12.50 wide) on a 7 inch rim.

Owner of a 1 owner 93 XJ county trim, 4.0, AT, 8.25 rear and 3.5 gears. It has goodies like pw/pl, cc, tilt, cd changer, keyless entry, rear wiper and defrost...overall a nice old jeep, my fifth owning previous wanglers and commander
[/COLOR] also own/restored a 1972 Pontiac Lemans GT originally owned by my grandmom....39k original miles.

if you want the height there are some 32 and 33 inch tires out there in widths from 9-10 inches.

there is no trimming involved on a TJ with "4 of lift and 33s. with "4 of lift you can fit 35s no problem.

Ahh my mistake i thought we were talking about an xj. Yea you can squeeze 35"s with 4" of lift but id stick with a 33 so you have more flex

LCOG builds are becoming more popular now, ive seen TJs on 35s with "2.5 of lift flex more than my old setup of 33s and "3 of lift
