Super Swampoers as snow tires?

I was thinking about getting a set of SuperSwampers, but I wanted to know how they would be in the snow. This is probablly the last winter my jeep will see snow for awhile so if they arn't great I can deal for a couple weeks till I ship I just want to know if I'm going to die or not. So what do you think can anyone recomend a good reasonably cheap tire for offroading and street use(not much I can deal with a fast wearing tire) that's good in the snow?

My 37X12.50 Iroks were actually really good in the snow to my suprise. I have also ran SSR's in the winter but i dont think those performed as well. No swamper tire is going to be great in the snow, but it can be done. Just be carefull trying to slow down, with the lightness of a jeep I found myself sliding a lot but thats what makes winter fun anyway..

Try the interco trxus m/t's. They're siped from the factory, so i hear snow traction is great! They'll be my next pair of tires. Only neg thing i've heard, like all swampers, they're hard to balance.

Guy came into the shop with a set of 33" trxus MT's and he said they rocked in the snow. And one of his tires was indeed weighed down on one side...two 2.5oz weights on the inside and outside EACH, and some added sticky weight on the outside just to balance it. The rest had at least a 2.5oz weight on each side.

In snow, grip edges (sipes) are your friend, so a Swamper Trxus MT will be better than a regular TSL. I've had TSL's, then SSR's and now Trxus. The Trxus are the best of the three and more siped than the rest.
