Halfway done!!!!

WOW I just reached the halfway point with 25 states done!! Not to mention 1/3 or Canada. Thanks for everyone that has been helping me. Please look it over, enjoy the info, send correction for anything you catch and help me with the states I do not have or the coding system I talk about in post #3.

I'm having problems with the arkansas link. I'm doing what you say going to the arkansas code and then I type in the Title 27 in the search box and nothing pops up but other crap...If the link is complicated, please just let me know how to find those codes so I can verify for you!

Jason!

Thanks,Rivka

no need to bump, if you want the list to grow, do one or all of the following, link to it, rate it high and best of all look at what it is missing and pick a state to research for it., thanks so much in your interest, this has turned into just what i was working towards, something really helpful to lots of people!

Just found out Doorless is illegal in B.C. with the exception of cj's cause they came as an option. Here is a link that cover most of what you are after. http://www.qp.gov.bc.ca/statreg/reg/...8/26_58_04.htm

I know this is a late post, but this type of list has already been compiled on places like www.findlaw.com. Not just the vehicle codes but all codes and state cases.

yeah i have seen that page in my searches, what i have done here is the first layer of digging for people. some state come up really nice others are nothing less than a nightmare!
for those of us that love digging we will always be able to find anything, others would rather ask a simple question, so for them this can get them straight to the heart of their state quicker. maybe it will help turn a asker into a digger every once in a while!

Every motor vehicle law for Texas can be found here, but concerning specific equipment required, you want CHAPTER 547. VEHICLE EQUIPMENT (Click here for PDF file).

This is where I found it is not required to have side mirrors when running doorless ( 547.602. MIRRORS REQUIRED).

And I applaud this effort!

Cheers! M2
