Sipe pattern question

Maxxis Creepy crawlers. I'm trying to figure out what a good pattern to sipe these inner tread blocks is. I was thinking a "Z" pattern within the tread block, with out the straight lines of the Z touching. I don't know if that will be enough, or if I should just have Discount Tire do whatever pattern they normally do. Any suggestions?

The tire siping that Discount Tire does runs perpendicular to the sidewall.

And the sipes are about 1/4" apart.

They can adjust the depth of the sipes and also how far the sipes extend to the outer tread blocks.

If you are cutting Zs within a tread block, that is more often referred to as tire grooving.

Sorry, I do not have any input on the siping/grooving pattern you should use.

Thanks! I wasn't too sure about their process so that helps. I was thinking I may want some sipes running the circumference of the tire for lateral stability. And I just meant the Z pattern for the siping, not actual grooving.

I doubt they will sipe worn tires

Discount Tire will sipe them as long as you have 1/4" of tread.

Yup, that's still the standard. How much can their machines 'customize' the sipes, or are they only one pattern?

Just one pattern. Straight sipes that run perpendicular to the sidewall.

The guys on my other forum, use a box cutter, and make cuts every 1/4" to 1/2"
I'd never heard of it, and bought tires, but probably could have gotten another year or 2 out that set. They would slide at the slightest acceleration, and on highway ramps too and were awful in rain..
